c) Two years working experience in Budget/Finance/Account.

Job Requirements: The duties of Accounts Officer include pre-checking of bills to be presented to DDO, preparation of budget, compilation of accounts (including preparation of balance sheet), audit, scrutiny of financial proposals relating to purchase of stores, equipments, capital etc., tendering financial advice to the Director of the Institute. Should have knowledge of income tax & GST rules and preparation of statements of TDS etc.
8. Section Officer: (01 Post – On deputation including short term contract basis from officers from Central/State Government/Autonomous bodies/Public Sector Undertakings. Pay Level – 07 (VIIth CPC) – Rs. 44,900-1,42,400.

Job Requirement: The duties of Section Officer include working as in-charge of the Section dealing with all establishment & administrative matters, finance/accounts and audit of accounts with the assistance of his subordinates. His duties include maintenance of discipline in the Section and distribution of work among the staff. NOTE : (For the posts of Accounts Officer (JG) & Section Officer)
1. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in other ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of Central government etc. shall ordinarily not exceeding five years
2. The candidates who are in the direct line of promotion in their respective feeder cadre shall not be eligible to be considered for appointment on deputation basis.
3. Other terms & conditions of the appointment on deputation basis will be governed in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India /DoPT vide their letter No.6/8/2009-Estt (Pay II) dated 17th June 2010 as amended from time to time.

Essential qualifications: 10+2 in Science subjects with 55% marks and one year certificate/diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology/Radiology Lab Technology from a government recognized institution.
Age limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Job Requirements: To undertake day-to-day assignments for laboratory/field work and provide assistance to the Scientists in their laboratory/field work related to scientific projects.
General Clauses: 1. Method of Selection: Selection for the posts of Scientist – D, Scientist – C, Scientist-B will be
through a written test and interview and for Accounts Officer & Section Officer, it will be through interview only. However, for Assistant, written test followed by skill test in respect of the candidates who qualify the written test will be the basis of selection. For the post of Technician – 1, only written test will be the basis for selection.
2. Age will be reckoned on the closing date for receipt of application. 3. Age relaxation:
a) Relaxation in age to government servants, persons with disability, and SC/ST/OBC & Ex-Servicemen candidates will be given in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard, will be applicable.
b) The candidates working in ICMR system and possessing the requisite qualifications will be eligible to compete and there will be no age restriction in their case. However, this will not apply in case of the posts of Accounts Officer (JG) and Section Officer.
c) One time age relaxation is also allowed to candidates having worked/working in long term projects of ICMR Institutes/Centers provided they meet essential qualifications and experience for the post.
4. ICMR-NIREH, Bhopal reserves the right to : a) fix criteria for screening the applications so as to limit the number of candidates to be
called for written test/interview. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification and requisite experience by the candidate does not confer any right to be called for interview/written test.
b) increase/decrease the number of vacancies. c) frame the panel for filling up future vacancies arising during the tenability of panel
which is normally operative for one year. d) fill up or not to fill up any of the advertised positions.

No. 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 and Rs. 300/- (Three Hundred) for posts at Sl. No. 7,8, 9 &10 payable to NIREH, Bhopal. SC /ST, persons with disability and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The application fee is payable by all other candidates including ICMR employees.
3. Unsigned/Incomplete application or application without supportive documents, without requisite fee, application received late, application not in the prescribed format, application received by Fax/e-mail etc. will be summarily rejected. Separate application form should be used for each post. ICMR-NIREH will not be responsible for late receipt of application due to postal delay and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
4. Applications from employees working in Central/State Govt. departments/Public Sector Undertakings and Govt. funded research agencies must be forwarded through proper channel. Advance copy of application can be considered subject to the condition that a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer is produced at the time of written test/personal discussion.
5. Any canvassing by the candidate by himself or on his behalf or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/recruitment shall be considered as disqualification.

Written examination of the eligible candidates will be taken; candidates will be called for personal discussion/ interview on the basis of marks obtained in the written
examination and marks for publication, experience, awards etc. The final selection will be as per criteria adopted by ICMR and decision of the Director General, ICMR
will be final in this regards
Written Test: The written test would be of 100 marks consisting of 100 objective/ MCQ type questions of one mark each for the correct answer. The final score will be
computed for a maximum of 40 marks based on the marks obtained in the written test of 100 marks. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Out of 100
questions, 90 questions will be objective/ MCQ type and 10 objective/ MCQ for analytical skills.

Current Affairs including developments in Biomedical Sciences 5. Common sense 6. Institute specific areas 7. Post specific areas 8. Fundamental knowledge 9. Subject specific knowledge 6. General Instructions:
i. Ph. D./M.D. degree in shall be treated equivalent to three years’ experience. Candidates with Ph.D./M.D. degree will be preferred for direct recruitment.
ii. Candidates called for personal discussion will be paid a 2nd Class rail fare by the shortest route, subject to production of documents along with proof of travel. Local
transportation charges shall however be borne by the candidates themselves.
iii. The post is with all India transfer liability under the Council.
iv. The envelope containing applications should be super scribed – Application for the post of ‘Scientist B or C ’.
v. ST and non-creamy layer OBC candidates recognized by Central Government are directed to submit the caste certificate in prescribed format issued as per
Government of India instruction by the competent Authority for appointment to posts under Government of India.
vi. Unsigned/incomplete applications or applications without supportive evidence, without application fee (in the form of Demand Draft/IPO), applications received
late, shall be summarily rejected.

ix. Date of written test / personal discussion will be communicated to the eligible candidates through call letters only and no enquiry in this regard will be entertained
and all updates will be up-loaded in the website.
x. No TA/DA will be admissible to attend the written test.
xi. Canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection / recruitment shall be treated as disqualification
