Goals help you measure how often website visitors complete specific actions.

A goal in Google Analytics represents a conversion that contributes to business

objectives. For example:

• Making a donation

• Registering for an upcoming event

• Subscribing to your email list.

1) What are goals?

Like all goals, GA Goals are specific and measurable.

Goals in Google Analytics tell you:

• When a goal is achieved (new donor).

• Behavior of visitors who convert. * Goals usually require a thank you page for each type of conversion.
