How to save money on food expenses on your wedding day
If you are planning on getting married
but have a small budget there are
certain things you can do to minimise overall costs. Your
food is one of them, when it comes to
catering you can save tons of money with the following steps.
Firstly think about how many guests
you will be catering for. The bigger your guest list the more
you will have to pay as it genially priced
per head. The smaller your wedding the
cheaper and more intimate it is.
Avoid the holiday season as the demand will be higher and so will prices. It will be
beneficial if you pick a date not many other
people would go for. Do not overfeed your guests, stick to the
simple things. If you marry later on in the day the less time you
have to splash the cash on food and drink.
If you have children going to your event provide them with their own menu. This way their portions will be much
smaller and cheaper and there is less chance food
will go to waste. Try find a venue that allows you to take your own alcoholic
drinks. Most places overcharge and you end up spending triple the
amount you would with normal shop prices.
