HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR TAX TRANSCRIPT ONLINE
1. Go to the IRS website at WWW.IRS.GOV 2. Click on “Get Transcripts for My Tax Records”
3. The following page will appear. Click “Get Transcript ONLINE”
4. Read the IRS policy and if you agree click “OK”
5. If you are a new user click “Create an Account” If you have an account click “Sign In”
6. Complete all fields in Step 1 and click “Send Email Confirmation Code”
7. Log on to your email and get the Email Confirmation Code.
8. Enter confirmation Code and Click “Verify Email Confirmation Code”
9. Complete all sections and click “Continue”.
10. The next step will ask questions to verify your identity (the sample below shows the type of questions you may be asked). Complete this section and Click CONTINUE.
11. The following screen will look like the one below. Select Federal Tax. And then Select Return Transcript for the correct tax year.
12. Once you click on your selection , your tax return transcript will appear and you should be able to print it.
