newArc – the High-Performance Arc
With the technology, KjellbergFinsterwalde sets new quality standards forgas-shielded welding in industry and craft.
The technology allows a higherfocusing of the arc and thus, increases labourproductivity considerably.
A stick-out of up to 40 mm with allowsa much deeper penetration compared totraditional methods. The torchconvinces with its powerful seam tracking whichhas extreme directional stability.
a slender and nearly perfect weldedjoint. masters even complex tasks withease.
Higher welding speed and considerably lessconsumption of filler material, gas and energythese are the features which make this newtechnology superior to traditional gas-shieldedwelding. the high-power arc pays off.

newArc – Re-Discover Gas-Shielded Welding
The technology opens up a newdimension of gas-shielded welding. The maincharacteristic of this method is a stable andstrongly focused arc.
First of all, convinces with a narrowseam width which has a small opening angle.Compared to gas-shielded welding with sprayarc, this angle is only half as big and the heat-affected zone is reduced to a minimum size.

the effective weldingspeed increases.
The Kjellberg technology covers nearlyall possible applications of gas-shielded weldingin the metal working industry from machine andship building to the manufacture of plants andcontainers.

The new GMAW technology is especially suitable for mechanised welding with undercarriageand automated plants. Increased welding speed, deep and stable root fusion, excellent seam surfaceand the prevention of undercuts, pores and splatter are the clear advantages of thetechnology in addition to the considerably reduced energy input per unit length compared to thetraditional gas metal arc welding with spray arc.
