WHAT ARE BLOCKS?
A block is a barrier that does not let us live our life to the
fullest. It can be an emotion, a thought, a belief, a curse,
black magic, ancestral karma or anything that is in our
mind that keeps us from achieving our full potential.
Blocks can be mental, physical, emotional, financial,
related to health, space blocks, land blocks and others.
Whatever their source, they create an energy of negativity
around us and in our heart, that doesn’t allow us to
manifest good things with ease.

IDENTIFICATION OF BLOCKS
A. EMOTIONAL BLOCKS (guilt, shame, fear, resentment, jealousy,
revenge, past trauma that you cannot forget and more)

SIGNS THAT THESE BLOCKS ARE FROM PAST LIFE
1. These blocks may be phobias (fear of heights, water, snakes,
closed dark spaces).
2. You feel it in “your bones” that you have been through this
before. A sense of déjà vu.
3. No matter how hard you work on them, how much you find a
solution, attend workshops, do the work, they still do not leave
you.
4. They can be ancestral- your previous generations have been
going through them as well. Example could be cancer in families,
early deaths, money blocks, divorces, children not respecting
parents etc.

5. They could be black magic related. You feel that someone has
done black magic on your family and things are not going right.
Chances are, this has been going on for generations.
6. You see vivid dreams of other lives and you feel disturbed.
7. Negative astral travel- your soul leaves your body at night and
goes into past lives to rectify and close what once was not right.
Many people feel and see this happening.
8. You have a difficult relationship that keeps draining you. Ni
matter how much you resolve it, it keeps pulling at you.

SIGNS THAT IT IS FROM THIS LIFE
1. Emotional blocks are usually from this life unless are part of the
points mentioned above. Guilt, anger, shame, resentment are
related to what happened to us in this life.
2. Money (unless a black magic or ancestral block) is a block from
this life where we believe that we don’t deserve it or we cannot
manifest it with ease.
3. Blocks related to body are mostly from this life as they are
connected to our current body.

HEALING BLOCKS
1. UNDERSTANDING AND WRITING YOUR BLOCKS
An understanding of blocks and awareness is very important and is
the first step towards a free life. After all, what you don’t know,
you can’t heal. Writing is preferred, take a new notebook and list
the blocks as shown above.
After you write each block, think about it for a few minutes. Do
you recall where you got the block from? Did you hear your
parents, teachers or friends talk about it and you believed that it
was true? For example- did you grow up hearing that money
doesn’t grow on trees? It is only earned through hard work?
Knowing the source of your blocks can loosen their grip on you.
2. ACCEPTANCE AND ALLOWANCE OF THE BLOCKS
“I accept myself the way I am” is a statement that takes away the
blame from ourselves. Often, we are in self-blame and guilt. We

feel “why are we thinking like this? Why can’t we be happy like
others?”
This statement keeps us in allowance of who we are, blocks and all.
It is important to know that you are not wrong because you have
blocks. And that these blocks are lessons we need to learn.
3. CLEARING YOUR AKASHIC RECORDS
Akashic records are the book of past lives- every action, thought,
deed is recorded there. They give us a clear idea about our life
purpose, soul lessons, unlearnt lessons, tough relationships, why
we are facing what we are facing and ancestral curses. Clearing
these records is a powerful way to wipe the slate clean as they say.

4. UNDERSTANDING THE LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE AND CLEARING
PRESENT LIFE BLOCKS
If blocks are not from past life, then it is likely that you have
created them in this life. This happens because we do not
understand the laws of how the Universe operates. Just like every
school has certain rules that students must obey, similarly this
world also has certain laws that govern it. One of these laws is the
Law of Attraction.
Understanding the 12 laws of the Universe gives you a roadmap on
how you can avoid blocks to money and relationships.
Eventually, in order to live by these laws, one must figure new
ways of being. Changes in behaviour will need to be bought and
courageous decisions must be taken to embrace the new patterns
and way of life. Sometimes, we may need to let go of abusive
relationships, or we may need to let go of that comfortable job in
order to be living in authenticity. Whatever it may be, be prepared
for a new life.

5. CHANGE IN PERSPECTIVE AND BEHAVIOUR
It is through our behaviour eventually that blocks will be released.
No amount of healing, crystals, smudging can take the place of
free will and choice. Sooner or later, we will have to shift our
perspective and change our reaction to triggers.

There is a Hawaiian psychotherapist who cured an entire ward of criminally insane patients, without ever meeting any of them or spending any time with them. Sound crazy? It really happened! The therapist was Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len and instead of the typical process of reviewing each patients’ files, and then meeting with them in person, Dr Len focused on healing them by healing himself.

Sound like a miracle? It was, but one performed with conscious effort using the right tools. Dr Len used Ho’oponopono, what he calls Self IDentity Through Ho’oponopono (SITH).
You might be thinking; how can this possibly work? What does healing yourself have to do with healing anyone? The “New Age” ideas of creating your own reality, take on a whole new level of responsibility with Ho’oponopono. If you do subscribe to the belief that you do create your own reality then it is no secret that there is no such thing as “out there” – everything happening to you right now in every moment is happening in your own mind. Everything you see, everything you hear, every person you meet, is not “out there” its happening in our own mind and shaded with all of our perceptions, fears, beliefs about that experience.
Unfortunately, because of how the mind is designed, we want to think what is happening is outside of us. This takes away any responsibility for what is happening. In reality, it’s quite the opposite: we are responsible for everything we think, and everything that comes to our attention. If we watch the news, everything we hear is actually our responsibility. That might be a little difficult to accept at first, but the good news is that we are now able to clear it, clean it, and through forgiveness change what is happening in our reality.
The good news is that you can do this process yourself, without anyone to help you. All you have to do is “say” the words in your

head. The power is in the feeling and in the natural order of how our “universe” is designed.
Step 1: Repentance – JUST SAY: I’M SORRY
The first step is to realize that you are responsible for everything in your mind, even if it seems to be “outside” of you.
Once you accept that, it’s very natural to feel sorry. When I read about all the heartache and destruction in the world and take responsible for becoming aware of that reality in my consciousness, I am very sorry. This realization can be difficult to accept, and our ego will definitely resist this level of responsibility, but once you start to practice this method and see results it is nothing short of miraculous.
A great exercise is to choose something that you already know you’ve caused for yourself? Over-weight? Addicted to nicotine, alcohol or some other substance? Do you have anger or self esteem issues? Health problems? Start there and say you’re sorry. Just say I’M SORRY. That’s it!
It is even more powerful to say it more clearly: “I realize that I am responsible for this (issue) in my life and I feel remorse that my consciousness has allowed this.”

Step 2: Ask Forgiveness – SAY: PLEASE FORGIVE ME
Don’t worry about who you’re asking. Just ask! PLEASE FORGIVE ME. Say it over and over. Mean it. Remember your remorse from step 1 as you ask to be forgiven.
Step 3: Gratitude – SAY: THANK YOU
Say “THANK YOU” – again it doesn’t really matter who or what you’re thanking. Thank your body for all it does for you. Thank yourself for being the best you can be. Thank God. Thank the Universe. Thank whatever it was that just forgave you. Just keep saying THANK YOU.
Step 4: Love – SAY: I LOVE YOU
This can also be step 1. Say I LOVE YOU. Say it to your body, say it to God, say it to the universe. Say I LOVE YOU to the air you breathe, to the house that shelters you. Say I LOVE YOU to your challenges. Say it over and over. Just say I LOVE YOU and mean it. There is nothing as powerful as Love.
That’s it. The whole practice in a nutshell. Simple and amazingly effective.

7. INNER CHILD HEALING
“The Inner Child work” is work that you do with a therapist or yourself to resolve the emotional trauma, experiences and emotions that are unresolved from childhood and are causing pain to you as an adult. It is work that brings forth the joy, peace and happiness that you deserve”.
The Inner Child theory believes that we all have some traumatic experiences we carry from our childhood. Be it a wound of separation from parents or a fear of animals, what we experienced in our childhood has a deep impact on our lives today. In fact, a lot of times the patterns we face at this stage have a lot to do with our fears, anxieties and impressions in childhood. Why Would Your Inner Child Hold Emotions? When we are very young, below the age of seven years of age, our subconscious mind and conscious mind have no barrier. What this means in simple terms is that whatever you see or is told to you at that age, you end up believing it as truth. That truth becomes a filter from which you see the world. For example, if you were loved and cuddled only if you got good marks or you were a “good boy”, then your sense of self-esteem is deeply tied to certain behaviour and to other’s approval.

If you were told that it is not good to express anger, you may turn into someone who avoids conflict at all costs. Children who have experienced abuse may end up running away from solid relationships just because they think they do not deserve it.
You Should Take Inner Child Healing If
• You have deep-seated beliefs about yourself, and self-criticism is a constant chatter in your mind.
• You have body issues with weight, money, unexplained panic, fears, a deep sense of unworthiness, sadness, anger, grief, betrayal, and wish you could start all over again.
• You feel unworthy, unloved and unlucky.
• You pretend to be happy on the outside but have a deep sadness inside that Life did not turn out as you had thought.
• You have anger/guilt/resentment issues and cannot understand why.

• Spaces experience a lot of different energetic influences over time.
• Let’s say that a house has had 3 or 4 families that have stayed in it over the last 10 years. The temperament of the people who have stayed, their fights, sadness or any trauma that they experienced, gets lodged in the space of that area.

11. LIVING YOUR LIFE PURPOSE
A life that is lived with purpose has little time for distractions. You
are so busy creating that everything else seems like a distraction.

Life lessons help us to look at every problem with a lens of
learning.
This helps us stay balanced and calm even when triggered. For
example, if your life lesson is forgiveness, you may find it easier to
let go of the resentment you have been carrying in your heart for
people who have hurt you in the past. If your lesson is courage,
then you know that life will present hardships to you and you need
to deal with it with courage and not get into self-pity mode.

This is a big game changer! Living in awareness means being
“present” in the moment. What are you thinking, what are you

us to be in charge- of our response, of our thoughts, of our life.

15. SEEK A MENTOR
A mentor will guide you to your highest good, keeping in mind
your spiritual as well as life goals. They will help you find your
purpose, live your lessons and will guide you in the darkest hours.
A good mentor is worth their weight in gold.
16. COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Last but not the least, a group that can hold you at a time you feel
down and out is worth investing your time on. A community of like
minded people is a blessing. See if you can attend group
workshops that help you in bonding with the right people. There
are a lot of spiritual groups that allow you to flourish at your own
pace.
