Customer Requirement/ Product Selection
● Smartphone games have become the newest form of entertainment. They can be
played virtually anywhere and provide hours of fun. Whether it's trying to pass the
time on a bus ride or trying to beat your friends high score, what better form of
entertainment is there then a smartphone game.
● Our product is designed for players ages 7+ who enjoy football and playing games
on their phones.
Conceptual DesignInitial Design:
The initial design of HeadSmash Football was
dodging players by clicking left and right arrow
buttons. The prototype of the game is consistent
with all our ideas except the player in the game
moves on his own while we originally had a button
to click to progress the player forward.
Actual Design
● This product is for a smartphone holder. Anyone who has a smartphone can own
and play this game anywhere! This game only requires an internet connection to
download, while the game itself does not need an ongoing internet connection to
use. This makes the app very accessible and will save mobile data usage for the
consumers.
● The app itself is a football inspired app where the player's goal is to get as far as
possible without hitting defenders.

Customer Feedback and Results
David’s roommate: Alec (20 year old college student) said the design idea sounds very fun and entertaining as long as everything works correctly and it looks pleasing.
Dan (Charles’s roommate): (19 year old male college student) Said the app was fun for a first time app, but with some time it could definitely be made better. He said he would like to see more user customization within the game: such as being able to change the color of your player or change the background.
Cost and Time Estimates
There was no monetary cost for our team to to produce our app, but it took about 6-8 total hours to create the app. That is not including the design time. Based off of other app producers it would cost between $15 to $20 an hour to recreate our app. Therefore, a good estimate would be:
$90 to $160
+ $25 Publishing Fee
With our design being an app, over time we will have to do updates and bug fixes to the app. There is also an option to put add on into the game. This would add to the labor cost.
Production Cost Update CostConsumer Cost
While the consumer will not have to pay for the app. Advertising agencies would pay to advertise.
