Congratulations to all our Science Fair participants. It was
wonderful to see such creativity and great presentation skills as
students shared their projects. Special thanks to Dr. G., Ms. Robles
and Ms. Hartline for organizing.
We are very excited for the debut of the middle school musical, Guys
and Dolls, next weekend. We hope you can join us at one of the

and 8:00pm.
Bring the attached flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re
supporting the cause to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to

Join our Forensics Club
(For students in grades 5-8)
Forensics is the art of public speaking. The public speaking program in interpretive reading provides
students with the opportunity to read a published prose or poetry selection expressively before an
audience at a tournament. This year’s interpretive reading tournament is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 1st at Black River Middle School in
Chatham. If you are in grades 5-8 and are interested in finding out more about our Forensics Club please
read below!

International Women's Day Event, Sunday, March 8, 3:00 pm
'Leading with Love' is a group of six girls who strongly believe in female
empowerment through education. In support of the Malala Fund, the girls are
hosting a screening of 'He Named Me Malala', with a discussion to follow. All

St. Patrick’s Day Crafternoon, Monday, March 9, 3:45pm
School age kids are invited to make leprechaun hat pencil holders – with a
rainbow of colored pencils and a little bit of Shenanigans included! Class size

Junior Garden Club, Thursday, March 19, 3:45 pm
Children age 5-13 are invited to join us on the first day of spring to learn about
bird migration and to decorate birdhouses for the birds return to the north. Class

Members of our school community are welcome to send classified ads for publication in our weekly news bulletin. Ads must be emailed by Wednesday at 4:00pm to [email protected] to be included in the Friday edition and must be ready to cut and paste. Ads will be run for three weeks only. Commercial ads or graphics will not be accepted. At the end of three weeks if you would like the ad to appear again, you must resubmit the information. Ads may be omitted due to space limitations.
HTRA T-Ball Spring 2020
Spring T-Ball is a great fun way to join (and meet new)
classmates and families in the community!
Come join us and your child(ren) will learn the FUNdamentals of Baseball.
Registration is open to any child entering Kindergarten, 1st Grade, or currently in 1st Grade.
Practice/games will be held from 5:45-7pm every Friday starting on April 24th through to June
12th. Each practice is followed by pizza and ices for players!
Cost is $50/child and all children will receive a uniform. Just wear sneakers and bring a mitt. T-
Ball helmet optional (HTRA owns several or bring your own).
T-Ball Registration Deadline April 6th!
Registration is simple, please go to the Harding Township Recreation Association (HTRA) website at
www.htra.info. All details are posted. To guarantee uniform orders, we kindly ask for
registrations to be completed no later than April 6th. Late registrants are welcome, however may
not be assured a uniform. We will do our best to accommodate.
This is purely a volunteer run program, so there are many opportunities for you to get involved. From
being a Coach, Team Assistant, Team Parent or simply cheering on the side lines! There are also
opportunities for sponsoring a team. You can have your name or company’s name featured on the
back of the Team uniforms.

Harding Tennis Registration is Now Open! Registration for Harding Township Tennis is now open. Tennis clinics will run on Sundays from April until June and for ages 5 and older. Tennis is on our own Harding Township courts at the municipal building!
