Notice of Intent To Purchase Produce
The Greenville Central School located in the town of Greenville, 28 miles south of Albany, New York is seeking to expand its program of purchasing produce from local farmers. Last year we purchased from 3 local farms and met with great success. We
would like to purchase directly from farmers/producers/growers for the 2005-2006 school year. Purchasing would be on a weekly basis for 10 months (Sept.05 to June 06)
or as the local season allows. Items are as follows:
Apples (Mac’s, Empires, etc.) 100 count/case Melons (med. to large) Carrots 25 lb. Bag Corn on the Cob 50 ct Cucumbers Bushel Honey 2 lb. Jars Lettuce (assorted) Bushel/case Mushrooms (assorted) 3 lb. Basket Pears (assorted) 100 ct. case Peppers (assorted) Bushel Potatoes (all purpose) 50 lb Potatoes Red B 50 lb Potatoes Baker 50 lb Red Onions 10 lb Spanish Onions 50 lb Squash-Yellow Bushel Squash-Zucchini Bushel Squash-Acorn Bushel Tomatoes (med. to large) 25 lb Other items at growers suggestion
Use subject to availability of product and menu requirements. Delivery would be to the
Greenville High School. Delivery day is open, Mon.-Fri. 7:30-1:30.
Payment from approved invoices shall be paid the second Tuesday of the month following delivery.
