Year End Mass
• This mass honours our graduates
• Graduates are invited for breakfast at 8:50 on Thursday June 11th.
• Following breakfast we will process into mass as a graduating class
• Following mass the St. Theresa’s Awards (school letters and pins) will be given to those who have qualified
• Immediately following the awards, grads will have short graduation rehearsal

School Pins
The St. Theresa’s School pin is presented to students who have maintained an average of 80% or greater during their entire high school academic history, from Grade 9 to Grade 12.
School Letters
The St. Theresa’s School Letter is presented to Grade 12 students who have made a valuable contribution to our school community in multiple areas.
Year End Mass Awards Con’tLieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award
This award is presented to graduating Ontario students who have gone above and beyond to volunteer for their school and their community.
School Spirit Award
This award is presented to a student who over their high school experience has displayed outstanding school spirit. The deserving student is one who is a participant in a variety of school activities and who by their enthusiasm and energy creates positive school spirit among their peers.
Legacy Award
This award is presented to deserving graduating students who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and achievement, impacting curricular and co-curricular areas. The recipients are leaving a positive legacy for the St. Theresa's students and our community.
Graduate Survey of Activities
• In order to be considered for a school letter, graduates are required to fill out the survey provided today
• School Letters are presented at the Year End Mass
• Survey is due on Tuesday April 21st at noon ~ drop off in Student Services
St. Theresa’s Graduation Awards• Several Community Sponsored Awards
• Complete the yellow form if you wish to be considered for these awards
• Form to be submitted by Friday May 22nd at noon ~ to Student Services
• All students will be equally considered for theses awards
• Check school website under “Student Services” for additional scholarships
• Student must be in attendance at Graduation to receive an award
Graduation Components
• 30 credits for your Ontario High School Diploma
• 40 Volunteer Hours – Due Monday June 1st at noon (list posted in Student Services)

$30 – includes gown rental, diploma folder, photo receiving diploma
• Many students paid this fee in the fall
• Check list posted in Student Services if you are unsure
Tickets for Graduation
• Each graduate will receive 4 tickets for graduation
• There will be no extra tickets
• Each guest MUST present their ticket in order to enter the graduation ceremony
Graduation CeremonyDate: Thursday, June 25th, 2015
Time: Grads MUST arrive by 6:00 p.m.
Report to the Library to pick up gown
Ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m.
Doors to Gymnasium open at 6:30 p.m.
After Graduation
• Grad Gowns must be returned to the LIBRARY a half hour after the conclusion of Graduation
• Grads must pick up their official diploma in the library after gown is returned
• The folder received during the Graduation Ceremony does not contain your dipolma
Valedictorian Information
A valedictorian should:
• Represent the entire graduating class
• Must be respected by staff and students
• Contribute to the St. Theresa’s Catholic High School Community in a positive way

• Nominations: May 19th – 22nd in Student Services
• Voting: June 1st – 5th in Home Room
• Announcement: June 11th at the Year End Mass
