Have you ever wondered where your blood or
urine goes once it has been collected?
Or why the nurse or doctor wants to wait for lab
results before performing further treatment?
Both of these questions show the diagnostic
importance of the laboratory! The laboratory
runs tests on blood, urine, feces, and body fluids
that provide the clinician with the information
needed to effectively treat the patient.
70% of all healthcare decisions
are based on lab results!
