Here at Glenville School, we are very lucky…

Page 3: Glenville Spring Build

We have nice, safe homes to live in.

Page 4: Glenville Spring Build

Some families are not as lucky as we are. They have no homes to live in.

Page 5: Glenville Spring Build

Habitat for Humanity is an organization that helps these families build houses.

Let’s see how it works.

Page 7: Glenville Spring Build

Glenville School is going to team up with Habitat for Humanity to

help a family build a house!

How will we do it?

Page 8: Glenville Spring Build

You will be the readers.

Your challenge is to read as many books as you can in two weeks.

Page 9: Glenville Spring Build

The teachers will be the builders.

It will be very hard work!

Page 10: Glenville Spring Build

How hard the teachers work is up to you.

For each 300 books the Glenville students read, the teachers will have to work 1 hour hammering, nailing, sawing and sweating!

Page 11: Glenville Spring Build

If you read only a few books, the teachers will get to take it easy.

Page 12: Glenville Spring Build

If you read a lot of books, the teachers will have a long day!
