SWA is collaborating with Communication Arts and Hornberger Worstell to renovate historic Ghirardelli Square. Organized around the theme of “Factory in the Garden,” public spaces will be revitalized with new brick paving, pots, seating, signage and planting structures. In addition to providing an updated garden-rich environment, the design attempts to clarify circulation for visitors as they navigate between the many levels and through the various spaces on the site.
