Fresh is online at www.arlocalfoodnetwork.org/Fresh. Visit the site to see a Google Earth map of gardens and other listings and to contact us with listing edits and updates.
To find local food in Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington counties, visit the Feed Fayetteville Northwest Arkansas Local Food Guide at www.feedfayetteville.org/2011/10/nwa-local-food-guide/, or Feed Fayetteville at www.feedfayetteville.org.
Arkansas Local Food Network (ALFN) operates an online farmers market at www.littlerock.locallygrown.net and www.lrmidweek.locallygrown.net. We also manage a Community Fund for food projects and Arkansas farms and market gardens, host workshops and fun food events, and much, much more. ALFN is dedicated to growing healthy farms, gardens, businesses, economy, and community. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we work to strengthen Arkansas farmers, promote the local food system, and support community food endeavors.

The Dunbar Garden project is a two-acre outdoor classroom that helps strengthen the bond between education and the natural world. We provide hands-on, outdoor education for all ages, with a special focus on teaching children the origins of the foods they eat.
Launched as an innovative, public/private partnership with the Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department--and offering over 150 hands-on gardening and environmental education classes each year--our gardens help serve the students of Gibbs International Magnet Elementary School and Dunbar Magnet Middle School in Little Rock, Arkansas.
We are open to the public for learning opportunities and tours. All groups are welcome!
Plant Ideas, Grow Minds.
For more information contact the Program Coordinator, Damian
Thompson at (501) 529-8520 to schedule your garden trip.
