Brief History of SCS-CEL
UGM is declared by Directorate General of Higher Education as a national coordinator of SCS-CELUGM is pointed to be a member of RCE (Yogyakarta Region)

SCS is to be SCS - CEL2006
UGM started to creating new paradigm of SCS (Development to be Empowerment Empowerment) as response to the Monetary Crisis
1997-1999SCS is a compulsory subject at UGM1979Wider to 13 Universities and UGM was a coordinator1972
Director of Higher Education proposed SCS as intra-curriculum activity 3 universities as pilots and UGM was one of them

UGM deployed students to be teachers student outreach Program, the program was stopped as monetary crisis in 1962. This program is the first model of SCS
