Frank Miller collected and exhibited artifacts, such as the Nanjing Bell, that
demonstrate his appreciation for Chinese
art and culture.
In 1929, Miller was honored by the Japanese emperor in a ceremony at the Mission Inn where he received the Fourth Degree of Merit of Meiji with the Small Order of
the Rising Sun.
Frank Miller took his first trip to Europe in 1907. He visited six different countries and attended an
important peace conference.
