Cat’s Whiskers As the name suggests, the large white or mauve flower spikes resemble a cat’s whiskers and appear all year. Cat’s Whiskers is a versatile shrub, reaching full size in a few months and is suitable for gardens of any size. It will grow in full sun or shade and can be used in different garden themes. Such as an infill plant in tropical gardens, hedged border plant in formal styles or understorey in native rainforest. Native to south-east Asia and northern Australia found in dry rainforest and is easily propagated by softwood cuttings. It is much used in herbal and traditional medicine.
