SWEET SPOTS ON CAMPUS
SLC Study Rooms
Earth Sciences Museum
QNC Study Space
Get ready for midterm season! There are a lotof great study spots on campus, but the SLC has study rooms for all students. On the thirdfloor, there are silent study rooms, while the basement has a room with a chalkboard! Grab your Timmie’s coffee and check out some of these great spots.
Wanna take a quick walk on campus, or maybe just explore the city without spending too much cash? The Earth Sciences Museum is located in the Center for Environmental and Information Technology (EIT). It’s open to the public, and holdsmany events and public tours. Try and find the tunnel!
Another great study space for those of youwho enjoy a lot of natural light and huge tables. The Quantum Nano Center is a moden style building with a clean looking space. Equiped with electric plugs and whiteboard walls, the QNC is a great choice to catch up on missed classes!
Engineering 5
EIT Cafe
Gustav Bakos Observatory
E5 is home to the Sedra Student Design Center, where most of the student design teams are
located. The 4th floor also has a great balcony, overlooking Ring Road and DC,creating a great
lunch spot! The 3rd floor also has the E5 Bridge, a great shortcut for when it’s cold outside and
you need a nice, warm cup of coffee from Engineering C&D!
Bet you didn’t know we have an observatory on campus! The Gustav
Bakos Observatory holds publictours, usually on the first Wednesday
of each month! A quick lecture isgiven, followed by the viewing of
specific planets or stars. Plus, you geta pretty good view of campus from
the roof of the Physics building!
If you’re ever low on cash, EIT Cafe is the place to be. With cheap breakast sandwitches,50 cent cookies, and pizza! Grab your food andsit in the middle of the beautiful building before
heading to class!
