Playwrighting Faculty Nominated for the Writers Guild Award
Professor Naomi Iizuka and her co-writers on The Terror:Infamy which aired on AMC this fall were nominated for aWGA award for best original long form series.
Set during World War II, The Terror: Infamy centers on aseries of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese-Americancommunity and a young man’s journey to understand andcombat the malevolent entity responsible.

Man of God had its world premiere earlier this year asan East West Players (EWP) production at the DavidHenry Hwang Theatre at the Union Center of the Arts inLos Angeles. EWP is the largest producing organizationof Asian American artistic work.

MFA acting alumnus John-Andrew Morrison is back atHartford Stage for A Christmas Carol. During this run theirproduction will hit its 1,000 performance.
The Hartford Stage is renowned for producing innovativerevivals of classics, as well as provocative new plays andmusicals, Hartford Stage has earned many of the nation’smost prestigious awards, including the 1989 Tony Awardfor Outstanding Regional Theatre. Additional nationalrecognition includes honors from the Outer Critics Circle,Drama Desk, American Theatre Wing (OBIE), and theNew York Critics Circle.
