2014 is a year of celebration for luxury travel brand Antler. Established in 1914 it launches its new collection of suitcases which epitomises 100 years of British style and design excellence. This season, fashion influences and design expertise fuse in a way that Antler does best.
The journey begins with hard cases where Antler leads the way. Jupiter (pictured below) is crafted from Makrolon polycarbonate making it incredibly strong yet light as a feather. The large size weighs in at just 3.4kg and is packed full of innovative design details, such as a zip out, machine washable lining, water resistant zip and super smooth hinomoto wheel system.
The Elara range (pictured below) is the stand out luxury product, with a unique embossed Edwardian pattern – think William Morris – and stunning ombre colour graduation effect. It arrives with a top stitched soft touch leather handle and a clever removable travel wardrobe and divider allowing for supremely organised packing.
The Onyx range (pictured below) embodies high-end design. It arrives in a sleek all black nylon fabric combined with a multi faceted embossed print, giving real luxurious feel. Over to Nimbus – Antler’s lightest ever hybrid case with its amazing super lightweight polycarbonate/nylon construction. Both designs bring the best of the strength of a hard case, with the flexible packing of a soft case.
Soft cases at Antler continue to pack a chic appearance. The Aire range (pictured below) is Antler’s lightest ever soft case range in an array of must have colours, with a fixed TSA lock and internal compartments. This clever design is only 2.7kg for a large case.
Perfect for the globetrotting professional the Helix range with its hardwearing polyester, plethora of pockets, expandable main section and even a suit compartment is the ideal companion when clocking up those air miles.

Grand Final Winners & Match Report
U13 Comets: Ajax 8.11 (59) def St. Peters 3.3 (21) Goals: Kalb 2, Siegel 2, Jacobs, Lipton, Machlin, Nirens Best: Bryer, Eliau, Kalb, Levine, Lipton, Micmacher
Match Report Woo hooooo! We did it!! What a game. What a year. What a performance. An outstanding match of footy, especially in the second half, when our backs were against the wall, trailing by one goal at the long break. After the coach’s inspiring address at half time, the boys fired up, lifting their intensity and their attack on the ball. Kalb split the game wide open with an awesome dash down the wing, evading all comers and slotting through a most significant goal, paving the way for the rest of the team to regain belief and determination. Then the true leaders of the club stood tall. Lipton lifted to quickly become the most dominant player on the ground (and receiving the much deserved BOG medal for his efforts). Hoody showed his class over and over again. Bryer was brilliant in the back half, repelling attack after attack. Nirens and Krongold were awesome in and under. Micmacher was, as always, an anvil in defence. Jacobs and Siegel slotted through a couple of very timely goals at very significant moments. The crowd found their voice half way through the third quarter, and it carried on all the way through to the end of the match. Throughout the whole game, the coaches kept their cool (at least outwardly!), but clearly maintained their focus and direction, leading the team through to the Holy Grail – an undefeated season culminating in the most amazing finale – a Premiership! Well done to everyone – coaches, support staff, parents, grand parents and, of course, the U13 Comets boys. A truly memorable day, one which will stay will all of you (and us) for your whole lives. Mazel tov to the whole AJAX fraternity.
A hearty Mazel-Tov to everyone involved in the U13 Comets – a season that saw them play 16 games and win every one of them – a remarkable achievement.
Winning Coach Ant Elbaum’s appraisal of the Grand Final
Following the U13 Comets premiership success Coach Ant Elbaum found some time away from the premiership celebrations to provide the AJFC community with his appraisal of the match.
St.Peters came out hard and tough and wanted the ball more than us. They bullied us and were more desperate. They flooded our forward line, the on ball contests and we were slightly shell shocked. Maybe the size of the ground, the previous results against them or the late night barmis may have all had an effect. From a coaching perspective I wanted to give the boys as much time to try and fight their own way out of the trouble we were in. It wasn't happening naturally. Half way through the second quarter as I paced along the boundary I realised I had been out coached. Something had to be done so we made changes as a coaching panel and they worked. Toby went back to CHB for a bit and got back confidence before going back in the ruck and dominating, Hudson went into the middle, Benji went to full forward, Johnno went into the forward pocket, Sam had a run on the ball for 5 minutes and we began to team up and move the ball finally. Liam Eliau and Kalby's pace set us alight early in the third and the rest of the boys followed. The boys were asked to make space in the pockets and flanks and take the ball through the middle. They listened and delivered and with their confidence back realised their potential and played team footy as they have done all year To be down at half time and only allow the opposition to kick 1 goal in the second half whilst we kicked 7-8 was unbelievable. What was more unbelievable looking back at the scores was that I was still unsure of a win until 5 minutes to go in the last quarter. Thank you once again to Dylan, all the boys, parents, helpers, family and friends for your support throughout the year. Enjoy the accolades you receive as you all deserve it. You are a special group and you made my year so much more enjoyable than I could have ever wished for. Well Done Ant

SEASON 2014 AJAX WEEKLY WRAP ,

AJAX FC Club Sponsor
Jackas Finals Hopes Dashed by Jeff Shenker AJAX’s 2014 season in
Premier B has all but drawn
to a close after their 56-point
defeat at the hands of top
team Uni Blues. Whilst
mathematically the Jackas
can still make the finals, they
would need to win big next
week against Fitzroy, and
hope St Kevin’s lose by
enough to overturn a 15%
buffer.
A very plucky AJAX team
took the game right up to the
flag favorites, and apart from
a thirty-minute lapse in
concentration in the second
quarter, the Jackas were
right in the match at
Melbourne Uni last week.
Debutant Jeremy Forbes, and
young gun Daniel Cohen
showed great composure
under immense pressure
down back.
AJAX put the home team
under the hammer from the
start, and it paid off when
the ball was forced forward
to David Fayman, who
kicked his 500th
career
VAFA goal with a superb
snap from the boundary.
Uni Blues quickly replied
with a goal of their own, but
minutes later a scuffle broke
out in the AJAX forward
line, which resulted in Asher
Burstin being red-carded and
sent from the ground. The
resulting free kick was
quickly reversed when Stuart
Fayman was felled by his
Uni Blues opponent behind
play. Brother David goaled
from the free kick
downfield, and the Jackas
took a three-point lead into
the first break.
The second quarter was to prove
to be one that the Jackas would
soon want to forget. Uni Blues
slammed on four goals early in
the term and opened up a
21-point lead, before the
visitors responded with a
great goal from Richie
Simon.The home team
replied with a further four
goals of their own to make it
eight goals to one

for the term, and set up a 37-
point lead at half time.
The Jackas headed into the third
term determined to restore some
respectability to the scoreboard,
and did so as David Fayman and
Burstin traded goals with their
Uni opponents. The hosts added
a third for the term and
threatened to stretch their lead,
but a goal to Alex Wollan just
before the ¾ time siren
restricted the deficit to 38-points
at the final break.
Uni Blues added four goals
in the final stanza to open up
a sizable lead, before David
Fayman bagged his fourth
for the day and Jake Lew
kicked his first as the Jackas
were defeated by 56-points,
and had their finals hopes
dashed.
The Jackas have a score to
settle next week against a
Fitzroy team that
embarrassed them earlier in
the year, and a large crowd
is expected to see the team
end the season on a high
note.
The Reserves had a day to
forget, with Alon Abraham
and Ryan White scoring the
team’s only two goals in a
157-point defeat to top team
Uni Blues.
Second-placed Old Carey
defeated the Under 19s by
61 points, with Ben
Schwartz kicking four goals
in the losing effort.
Israel Gutnick was the
solitary goal-kicker for the
Thirds as they were defeated
by top team Old Xaverians
by 91 points.
