that feature actresses like Kim Cuong and Thanh Nga re-packaged for the Vietnamese diaspora, distributed through production companies like Thuy Nga and Asia.

These DVDs circulate within an imagined community for the purposes of commodification but also enable the diasporans to reimagine as well what Saigon looked like in the past.
