Note: 1. If as a result of a re-mark, an examination mark is decreased and a student is thereby no longer eligible for a
previously granted supplementary examination, the entry for the latter will be cancelled.2. The prescribed fee will be refunded to students whose final result for a subject changes, as a result of a re-mark
from a fail to a pass of 50% or more, or from a final result which is already a pass to a higher final resultwhich then constitutes a pass with distinction (i.e. 75% or more). No refund, other than in the aforementionedcase, or cancellation of this application will be considered.
3. The result of a re-mark is final, and no further communication in respect thereof will be permitted.4. After paying the prescribed amount at the Cashiers, this form must be returned to the Faculty Office.5. The Faculty Office will forward the application form to the Examinations Department for further processing.I, the undersigned, understand that this application is subject to my compliance with all DUT rules in terms of Rule G13 (i)(n), scanning and re-marking are not permitted in respect of practical, portfolio and oral examinations and in subjects evaluatedby continuous assessment.
