NATALIE WEIR’S CARMEN SWEET
Spend the night with the definitive seductress of stage as she weaves her deliciously wicked wiles through EDC’s Carmen Sweet, a heady journey of seduction, jealousy, lust and revenge. Following a sell-out season at the Cremorne Theatre in 2013, Carmen Sweet returns to EDC for two performances only.
NATALIE WEIR’S R&J
Winner of Outstanding Achievement in Choreography and Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer (Elise May) at the 2012 Australian Dance Awards, Natalie Weir’s R&J presents three versions of events inspired by the star-crossed lovers at the heart of Shakespeare’s greatest love story. After an extensive national tour in 2013, R&J goes back to its purest beginnings.

The Red Shoes A NATALIE WEIR SIGNATURE WORK FEATURING ELISE MAY
Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s legendary gothic fairytale, Natalie Weir’s original dance production The Red Shoes spotlights obsession, passion, self-destruction and jealously in the ultimate tug-of-war between art and heart.
Also drawing influence from the 1948 Academy Award winning film, The Red Shoes blends impressionist art and expressionist dance in a spectacular onstage romantic fantasy.
