AREAS OF
OPERATION
Since 1998 CESAR invests
in new venture generation.
For the past 12 years, CESAR has generated more than
20 ventures with ITCs.
Most of the projects have originated within an institution –
spin-offs.
Spin-offs arose from concrete market demands
and/or internal competencies.

A vision of the
future: To be the most efficient
entrepreneurship program
in Brazil in the generation
of Buyable Startups with ITC by 2016
CESAR.Labs 2.0 (2011)
An Evolution of the intra-
entrepreneurship model already practiced
at CESAR;
Concept inspired by the Lean Startup
philosophy which proposes a new business
management model for newly-born and
innovative businesses due to their extreme
uncertainty;
The goal is to focus on Buyable type of
businesses, i.e., those built to be bought by a
bigger business;
Beginning in 2014, the program will
be open to those interested outside
CESAR.
What are we
searching for?
INNOVATIVE projects
involving ITCs
The INDUSTRY is not as
important as the INNOVATION
