RE: Bladen County Request for Qualifications for Geotechnical Engineering, Testing, Environmental Assessments, and Inspection Services
Dear Mr. Martin,
On behalf of SUMMIT Engineering, Laboratory and Testing, Inc. (SUMMIT), I would like to thank you for the opportunity to submit our qualifications for Geotechnical, Environmental, Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection services.
Having performed these services for over 10 years on a multitude of projects throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, we believe that we are uniquely qualified to serve as your testing firm on this project. Our capabilities along with the credentials of our experienced engineering team prove that we provide added value to all of our projects. Key points to consider for this project include:
> We currently perform geotechnical and environmental engineering, construction materials testing and special inspections services on many projects throughout the state that are similar in scope and size to this jail project.
> Our engineers have experience performing soil evaluations and testing services in both the public and private sector, bridging the gap for private developers amongst municipalities and vice versa.
> Our 7,000 square foot materials laboratory facility houses state of the art equipment for consolidation, tri-axial shear testing, permeability and other advanced test procedures and additionally serves as the primary materials laboratory for multiple engineers and contractors who require accurate and timely test results.
We pride ourselves in our work the way we know our clients take pride in the culmination of each project. In aiming to uphold a standard of customer service that keeps our clients coming back, we expect as much out of ourselves as you expect when you write requirements of your project. In choosing SUMMIT, you choose a firm who cares about efficiently and effectively achieving your project goals.
Thank you for considering SUMMIT for this proposal and we hope that you will select us as your consultant of choice. If you should have any questions regarding this submittal, please direct all inquiries to me at 919.380.9991.
With Warm Regards,
Jason Coble, PE Raleigh Branch Manager
