BLOW-BY-FILTERTHE NEXT GENERATION
Dear Customers and Business Partners, IFT GmbH was founded in 2011 by a group of experts, working in the field of engine and filter technology.IFT has since grown into a globally operating enterprise, engaged in the development and production of high quality and innovative blow-by filters. Expertise acquired over many years is brought together here and has culminated in the creation of a product that meets the demands of a discerning market. Thanks to our new and innovative technology, filter replacements are no longer necessary
until the engine is overhauled. Extensive experience and long-term field tests have already confirmed the high performance and reliability of IFT blow-by filters.
Our team consists of highly motivated, competent and responsible employees who constantly strive to evolve and grow with the company. We maintain a particularly close relationship with our customers and encourage an open and ongoing exchange of information. We set ourselves apart by providing reliability and quality, as well as friendly and open communication.
IFT stands for quality and sustainability. We are certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and place great emphasis on maximum environment protection and conservation of resources. IFT is ready to accept new challenges, in order to assist our clients in a variety of ways as their dependable partner.

3 - Business
UNLIMITED LIFETIMEThe lifetime of IFT filters is practically unlimited.
IFT is guaranteeing a service-free operating time of 30,000 hours. The pressure drop will permanently maintain a constant level because of the self-regenerating filter media.
MAXIMUM SEPARATION RATEOutstanding separation rates of more than 99.98%
will satisfy the highest customer requirements.
ABSOLUTELY NO MAINTENANCENo differential pressure monitoring and no exchange
of fi lter inserts necessary.
HIGHEST OPERATIONAL RELIABILITYThe robust and vibration resistant design makes IFT filters the best choice
for demanding operating conditions. The stainless steel housing is tightly welded. Each filter is tested before delivery. The design has been approved by numerous field tests.
BEST VALUE FOR MONEYInvestment costs are reduced to a minimum by a reasonable purchase price,
omission of oil pre-separators and heat insulation, and by an ideal integration into the engine design.
Operating costs are optimized by practically unlimited lifetime and maintenance-free operation.

IFT HAS THOROUGHLY INVESTIGATED THE COMPOSITION OF THE BLOW-BY FLOW.The oil mist in the blow-by gas consists of a mixture of oil drops of a different size. The fracture of drops at the lower end of the diameter spectrum (<0.1 micron) is so small that it is located outside the measuring range of most particle measuring devices and can be determined with difficulties only.Although the distribution of size differs from engine to engine, it corresponds essentially to the curve shown below, however.

Structual part of compressor Structual part of compressor THE CHALLANGE
A Little Bit of Internal Combustion Engine Technical Background
Approximately 0.5 to 1% of the cylinder charge escapes into the crankcase via the piston rings, valve guides and turbocharger oil circuit.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS AND REGULATIONSThe blow-by mainly consists of exhaust gas, combustion air and fuel and is saturated with engine oil vapour and oil droplets. Simply venting it into the atmosphere is not acceptable from an environmental protection perspective. As a consequence, most modern engines are equipped with closed crankcase ventilation systems.
ENGINE AND PLANT EFFICIENCY Considering engines with pre-mixed combustion like gas or gasoline engines, the blow-by contains a considerable amount of unburned fuel. Re-circulating this fuel increases the engine efficiency.
ENGINE OPERATION ISSUESSupercharged high-power engines are challenged by the remaining oil mist content of the blow-by. Turbocharger compressors working at full power react very sensibly to oil mist in the intake air where compressor exit temperatures often reach more than 180°C. The oil is partly deposited as oil coke in the compressors of the exhaust gas turbochargers, leading to reduced compressor performance. Segments of the charge air cooler can also be contaminated, which subsequently has a negative influence on the heat transmission and the flow resistance.

7 - The Challange
As far as we are concerned, the ideal blow-by-filter should not require replacement; it filters almost everything out, causes virtually no drop in pressure and is so small, that it is not even noticeable on the ENGINE.

BLOW-BY FILTER TECHNOLOGY FROM IFT:
► Layered depth filtration using a special fiber medium
► Defined alignment of fiber filaments
► Parallel flow conditions through fiber layers
► Increasing filter porosity in the direction of flow
► Integral network of channels for discharging of separated oil
► Fiber exit barriers at the inlet and exit surfaces of the filter media
► Prevention of internal leakages, thanks to sidewall compaction and bonding base cover for the filtration media
► Prevention of external leakages, thanks to an all-round welded seal of the filter housing.
„We at 2G Drivers GmbH are convinced that-technology revolutionizes conventional
blow-by filter technology. IFT represents the future of cutting edge technology“

OUR INNOVATION ... ... YOUR BENEFITS
WHAT THIS TECHNOLOGY CAN ACHIEVE:
► The oil mist separation rate is increased to a new maximum level of over 99.98%.
► The f i l ter media are self-regenerating. The hold-up and associated pressure loss remains constant over the f i l ter service l i fe.
► The service life of the IFT-fi l ter is practically unlimited. IFT guarantees a maintenance free service life of 30,000 operating hours.
► IFT f i l ters have an unparalleled specif ic oi l absorption capacity. Oil content in the blow-by gas is not limited
► IFT f i l ters are very small and can be easily integrated into the engine design.
► IFT f i l ters can be flexibly adapted to specif ic customer requirements.
► IFT blow-by f i l ters are resistant to vibration and high impact shocks. We achieve this by implementing a compact design with compressed sidewalls and f i l ter media that are bonded vertically to the f i l ter housing.
