Introduction
Since Automechanika 2012, our company has
undergone some significant changes, the most
noticeable one being the name change from Vividto HaynesPro. The companys revenue has shown
significant growth over the past two years as we have
continued to produce new and innovative products.
In February 2014, we moved to new, larger offi ces in Leus-
den, The Netherlands. The move was a direct result of the
successful growth strategy which the company initiated two
years ago. Our spacious new offi ces allow room for further
expansion of our project teams, with a corresponding in-
crease in the scope of our customer service.
In 2012, we announced our intention to increase staff num-
bers from 80 to a minimum of 100 within two years. By then,
HaynesPro Romania had already relocated to a larger offi cein Bucharest. In 2013, HaynesPro Italy relocated to new of-
fices in Moncalieri, near Turin.
We have achieved our goal and now have over 111 employees.
In spring 2014, we appointed Bart Raats as European
Business Development Manager. Bart was our 111th
employee and is responsible for developing projects and
sales beyond our traditional parts distributor and wholesale
business. He focuses specifically on
manufacturers of diagnostic equipment,
parts manufacturers in the aftermarket,
and roadside assistance organisations.
In July 2014, acknowledging the growing
importance of the European parts
purchasing organisations, we appointed
Mrs. Hasret Celik as Relationship Manager
- International Buying Groups. Hasret
has been Regional Sales Manager for
Scandinavia and the Benelux countries for
4 years. She will continue to be responsible
for these areas, in conjunction with her
new responsibilities.
Until now, Hasret has also been the Regional
Sales Manager for Eastern Europe. Therapid growth of the company in this region indicates a
need for a full-time locally-based regional manager. We plan
to appoint this manager by September 2014.
At Automechanika 2014, we will be announcing new
products and product enhancements. These range from
our new tablet-specific Touch interface, through improved
and highly flexible web services, to specific smartphone
applications. We now cover passenger cars, light commercial
vehicles (LCVs) and trucks, from a single database. We have
increased our overall car-park coverage and introduced new
subjects.
With our expanded teams and increased product flexibility,we are now optimally placed to respond to customer needs
for specific automotive information!

HaynesPro WorkshopData Touch
An essential workshop toolAt EquipAuto 2013 in Paris, HaynesPro introduced its
new Touch interface. Touch offers instant access to
the HaynesPro WorkshopData technical information
via a tablet.
Using a tablet, a mechanic logging on to HaynesPro
WorkshopData has immediate access to the same high-
quality technical data previously only available on a PC/
laptop. The difference is the Touch user interface, which is
specifically formatted and optimised for touchscreens and
tablet devices.
Last year, responding to feedback received, we further
optimised the Touch version and created a branded
version, similar to the current online version of HaynesPro
WorkshopData. Now all HaynesPro customers can provide
their end users with their own branded version of the Touch
interface.
Touch interface for WorkshopData - Truck Edition
At Automechanika 2014 we will introduce the new Touch
interface for Trucks. This features the same clear and intuitive
design that we previously introduced for our Car Edition.
This first release has the same functionality as the current
HaynesPro TruckData application. The next step will be the
option to save a specific truck or trailer configuration, and this
will replace the current My Trucks and My Trailers options.
All technical data will be filtered based on the selections made
to configure the truck or trailer. The offi cial Touch launch is
planned for the end of 2014. To learn more about the new
Touch - Trucks Edition, please visit our Automechanika
stand F32 in Hall 9.1.

HaynesPro Workshop Organiser
moduleHaynesPro Workshop Organiser is a simple yet
highly effective tool for generating work orders from
cost estimates in a few simple steps.
Besides work order management, Workshop Organiser also
includes a customer and vehicle database, an easy planning
tool and smart links to all the technical information related
to the job.
HaynesPro Workshop Organiser can
be linked to any parts catalogue or
DMS system, to include pricing and
stock information for related parts.
HaynesPro Workshop
Organiser - Much more than a
new interface
Following the introduction of
HaynesPro WorkshopData Touch,
we have continued to develop
a completely new version of
Workshop Organiser.
Our goal was tosimplify workflow by
completely integrating
Workshop Organiser
into WorkshopData, and to make it look and feel like one
application.
OrganiserXpress has already been integrated. It is the ideal
tool for creating a quick cost estimate, listing all the vehicle
information, work and parts required. The cost estimate can
be printed and personalised by adding customer information
manually. OrganiserXpress is free with every licence that
includes the Maintenance and/or Repair
Times module.
By including a Workshop Organiser
account in the licence, a workshop
can easily convert cost estimates
into work orders, then link them to a
customer and vehicle database. With
HaynesPro WorkshopData Touch,
a tablet is suffi cient for viewing the
planned work orders and all relevant
technical information. A direct link to a
parts catalogue can be provided. With
pertinent information instantly accessible
and constantly available,
workshop effi ciency canimprove significantly.
ORGANISER
Workshop ConnectOf course as a user you want to continue where you left
off, apart from device or location. That is why HaynesPro
developed Workshop Connect. All the information linked to
a users account is saved in the cloud, making it accessible
from any device. The stored information included recently
viewed cars, saved cost estimates, work orders, specific
vehicle configurations and user settings.

VESA starts where most multi-make
diagnostic tools stop!VESA provides instant access to an extensive
database of detailed information on electronics
systems and the CAN-Bus.
Most specialist tools can retrieve vehicle data quickly and
accurately. The user is subsequently presented with one or
more fault codes. Unfortunately, malfunctions cannot be
resolved solely on the basis of a fault code and description.
This is where our VESA system comes in. Starting from a fault
code, VESA generates type-specific diagnostic solutions
whereby the fault code defines the most logical diagnosticpath.
VESA specifies:
1. The pin numbers where readings should be taken
2. The colour of the wires
3. The expected values
4. A scope image (if applicable)

HaynesPro Telematics
A connected car is essential! While fleet ownersroutinely install telematics devices, workshops now
create loyalty schemes by installing devices in their
customers cars. As these devices alert the workshop
when fault codes are generated, service planning can
be optimised..
HaynesPros data provides all the information necessary for
telematics applications, including EOBD connector locations,
replacement part numbers, and fault code information. OEM
service schedules are also provided, as are links to parts,
lubricants, and repair times.
HaynesPro has enhanced WorkshopData specifically toimprove functionality for applications such as:.
1. Maintenance data
New feature:we now provide all service schedule
mileage and interval information in numeric rather
than text format.
New functionality: calculation of upcoming
maintenance, based on the vehicles age and mileage.
2. Vehicle identification
New feature:updated VIN decoder to accommodate
the latest manufacturer definitions.
New functionality:gives either VIN or country-specific
registration data (e.g., KBA, Vehicle Registration, Carte
Gris, Typschein). Vehicle identification is available on
any platform used to access WorkshopData.
3. VESA
New feature: previously a single fault code was linked
to the probable faulty component; multiple fault codes
are now linked
New functionality: you can diagnose problems before
the vehicle reaches the workshop. This will facilitate
effi cient resource planning and identify any parts
required.
Our flexible data delivery methods are the key to effi cient and
fast data exchange. We have used web services for many years
and are happy to assist you to create an effi cient workflow in
your workshop.

Whats in a name? WorkshopData Car Edition and
WorkshopData Truck Edition. We are committed to delivering technical data
products for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles
(LCVs) and trucks in a flexible, easily usable format.
To facilitate this, in 2013 we began to merge our
passenger car database (WorkshopData ATI) with
our database for light and heavy trucks (TruckData).
Early in 2014 we completed the merge to form a
single database. We are now ready to announce the
result: HaynesPro WorkshopData- Car Edition,
and HaynesPro WorkshopData - Truck Edition. The move to a single database has enhanced application
and database maintenance effi ciency; a clear advantage
for our parts catalogue and parts distribution partners. For
many years now, HaynesPro has been the undisputed leader
in the provision of well documented, easily implemented
web services for our products. Now that we have a single,
comprehensive database, our customers can use a single
set of web service requests to retrieve information about a
passenger car, or heavy trucks. This reduces the cost of data
integration, allowing flexible and effi cient implementation
of information for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and
trucks.
To underline this significant change, we have decided to
identify the product by the product name which is known
and trusted throughout the automotive aftermarket:
HaynesPro WorkshopData. To indicate particular content,
we are introducing specific editions of WorkshopData. Our
existing WorkshopData ATIand TruckDataapplications
will become:
WorkshopData - Car Edition; covering passenger
cars and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5
tonnes.
