eMail Collaboration Setup
eMail Collaboration for release 9 setup (with demo test in Thunderbird) The intent of this document is to guide the user through the setup of Integration Broker and eProcurement components such that an ePro requisition can be taken through the approval process by running approvals through approvers email and never having to open the application. (This icon is used throughout the document to assist with application navigation.) Setup Checklist

Defines the location of the MCF attachment repository servlet, located on the gateway web server. Attachment relative URLs are appended to this address to create a fully qualified URL to reference an attachment in the repository.
Note. When setting a remote gateway to access email attachments stored on the remote machine, the database that the gateway/psattachservlet accesses should have the permissions to view the attachments.
If web server is installed with a PeopleSoft Pure Internet Architecture site name other than ps, include the site name in the specified path.
MCF_User - It is the SMTP user or email user without "@".
use the password encryption utility for the email repository passwordenter the result in the MCF_Password.

to open the PV_EMAIL_REQ_APPROVAL Service Operation Set default service operation version to Active.
Routing status needs to be set to exists if not check both check boxes in routing actions upon save.
Queue name must be set to SAC_EMC Click on Service Operation Security link
On Service Operation Security set these permission lists to full access then save.
Back on the Service Operation go to the Handlers tab and set the Status to Activethen click on the Details link and make sure that the application is set for PV_EMAIL_REQ_APPROVAL as shown here.
On to the Routings tab Set the two rows : one local to local and the other is set to any to local. Both rows must be set to active.

Now onto the eProcurement setup

to set the email address for approvers click on the Edit Email Addresses
Add the approvers email address

go into Configure Transactions for Requisitions
On this page its important to have the Email Approval User List set to Collab to distinguish the subset of the email collab user (user list name used for this demo; it could be whatever user list you specify) and delivery method set to Inline-HTML Email
Inline-HTML Email means that the approval form appears in html format within the body of the received email. (The attachment method would have the approval form included as a file attachment to the received mail.)

In order to process the message from the repository and update the Requisition the app engine program PTAFEMC needs to run.

Requisition Approval has been completed and showing the comments entered by approvers. The Requisition was approved without ever having open the PeopleSoft Enterprise application to visit the approvers worklist.
