Nile River – Egyptian river from
which the wealth and power of the Egyptian civilization depended upon. Gave fertile land for agriculture, transportation and trade. These are known as the “Gifts of the Nile.”

– The area in which the Nile empties into the Mediterranean Sea. The largest area of fertile land in Egypt.

Imhotep– Chancellor of Egypt during the pharaoh Djoser’s reign. He was the founder of the Egyptian system of medicine, and architect (supervised the construction of the world’s first stone building).

– A female ruler of Egypt. Known by historians as the first powerful female leader. Ruled over a period of peace, stability and prosperity.
