ALVA'S EKALAVYA SPORTS CLUB
Alva's Education Foundation is also known as the hub for most of the sports & games. During 2011-12 AEF hosted All-
India-Inter-University Athletic – meet which was appreciated by all the stake holders. Our Athlete won seven Medals in this st ndmeet. AEF also organized Inter-University Ball Badminton Competition and won 1 & 2

Application forms can obtained from the Admission Office on payment of Rs. 150/- in cash by DD drawn in favour of
“Chairman, Alva's Education Foundation ®, Moodbidri. Application forms should be filled in, complete with all the
information asked for, in the candidate's own hand writing. Application forms should be registered in Admission Office
by the due date with registration fee of Rs. 150/-. Applications received by post will be registered only if a DD for
Rs.150/- payable to the “Chairman, Alva's Education Foundation ®, Moodbidri” is enclosed. An acknowledgement will
be sent only if a self addressed post card is enclosed.
Students who do not appear for the interview on the specified day are liable to lose the seat provisionally allotted classes to them. Students who are finally selected after the interview should pay the fees immediately. The fees will not be refunded under any circumstance. Selected students who do not pay the fees or after paying the fees do not attend the class for five consecutive days, will forfeit their seats. Original documents should be submitted to the college office while paying the fees.

ISSUE OF ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATEThe students who studied outside Karnataka shall get the eligibility certificate from Mangalore University at the time of admission. Candidates will not be admitted without obtaining the eligibility certificate from Mangalore University.

Alvas Education Foundation provides excellent Hostel facilities for Girls and boys with 24 hours interrupted power and water
supply. All the hostels are well maintained and supervised by the wardens. Ragging is any form is any form is strictly prohibited
in the hostel and legal action would be taken against such student who indulge is such activities. The rules and regulations of the
hostel have to be followed strictly.
Ample opportunities are created for the students to participate is sports and games. Meritorious sports study are provided. Free
education along with training by professional coaches for different Sports & Games, financial support to participate is
University, State, National and International Level Athletic meet. Motivation for personal and group achievements is Sports and
games, Special training to rewrite the meet records are some of the Special attractions of AEF. Well equipped ALVA’s Multi -
gymnasium and Weight-lift gym with trained professional coaches are made available. Standard 400 mts track and play
ground(field) for all the game events are also provided for extensive practice. Special scholarship for outstanding Sports
persons is offered by AEF.
All the students are encouraged to participate in cultural competitions at the college, University, State, National and
International level and these activities are integral part of AEF activities. The Institution also provides the required instruments
and costumes for various performances throughout the year students are trained in Dramatics, Miming, Drawing, Folk &
Classical dances and classical Music. Interested students are also trained for Yakshagana by the experts.
AEF owns a fleet of buses to carry students from hostel to the college. This is a convenient and comfortable means of transport
which saves a lot of time for students and avoids anxiety among the parents.

Eligibility:
