Views from Experts"In my humble opinion, an event like Expo2020 lifts the mood and sentiments of an economy. Its a positive domino effect that acts as a catalyst to various developments in the region. It enables a city to present itself as a true global economic destination, than a mere tourism hub"
AADIL SHAIKH, HomeGenie Middle East, Dubai
“UAE is working towards making themselves smart and innovative in sectors such as transport, online governance, digital solutions for the masses etc. It is trying to lead this initiative with projects such as RTA digitalisation, e-payments, unified bio-metrics for identification etc.”
RAJAT AGARWAL, Samsung, Dubai
"I see Expo 2020 as having two major impact on Dubai. One is that it would give Dubai a major exposure as a business center on the world stage and bring it on par with Singapore, secondly it will help build a hotel and transport infrastructure which will last much beyond Expo 2020.”
