United Kingdom.
Chasewater.
Evening.
A VULNERABLE TEENAGE BOY, 17 years of age, wearing a dark
hooded jacket and jeans is meandering the hilly paths of
a quiet rural landscape, at the fall of day.
Crouched hidden in a bush is an AVERAGE GIRL, wearing
dark clothing, heavy eye makeup and has a crazed look
upon her face and is secretly marking the MALE CHARACTER.
A text alert is heard and THE BOY inspects his left
trouser pocket for his phone. He receives a text from anunknown number saying I can see you his expression is
anxious and troubled as he proceeds to walk and tries to
act anonymous to the events that just occurred.
THE BOY begins to look uncomfortable as he hears a series
of whispers. I know what you did. I am everywhere you
go. You cant escape me. They danced around his head
and he became distressed, panicked and started to run
towards a dark dank forest. His breathing increases the
further into the forest he goes. The sounds of his
footsteps on the ground beneath him were heavy as he
dashes deeper into the forest. He comes to a stop in an
opening where a large oak is mounted opposite to where he
was standing. He hears the noise of a branch cracking and
some leaves rustling in the distance. He take his phone
in his right appendage and dials the unknown number that
previously text him. He glances up from HIS phone and
cried Whos out there?! with a terror stricken tone.
A silhouette of a FEMALE appears underneath the tree,
crouching close to the ground as if waiting to jump onher pray.
He shifts uneasily as if he knows it is his final
encounter in this world. He glances all around HIM,
taking in every tiny detail. Primarily to the left, and
how the leaves move when a gentle breeze passes over
them. Secondly, admiring how the clouds evade across the
sky bringing misery as they sweep swiftly on to a new
place. Conclusively how the birds glide freely and
assemble a skein in the sky. As his gaze subsequently
stops and locks onto the silhouette, he has a look of

dismay about his face, nevertheless he also looks
satisfied and grateful of the life he has attained.
Unexpectedly, the GIRL darts from under the tree, towards
the boy, withholding a knife in a tight grasp in her
hand. The boy stays still as if his feet are tied to theground preventing him from escaping this confrontation.
She raises her hand above her head and within a few short
moments forces it down, penetrating the knife through the
BOYS heart. He falls to the ground without a battle as
blood cascades out of his chest. He lies there with his
eyes open, scarcely, and he looks as though his life was
squandering out of him slowly and painfully. His hand
falls upon the knife and evicts it from his body, and
then throws it onto the foreign land of the forest
canvas. He specifically places HIS hand over HIS heart as
if to hold onto all the memories HE has had throughouthis life. His index finger murmurs and he sees the world
for a final time as his eyes curtain on his journey in
this cruel world.
She stands over his body watching him cross the territory
between the living and the dead. She walks clockwise
around his body inspecting her work. She parades back
towards the oak tree, moving silently into the dusk of
day hunting for her next victim.
A PAPER BOY/GIRL, saunters towards there next delivery.
He/She pushes the newspaper through the letterbox
carelessly and carries on down the quiet street in a
housing estate. The Newspaper falls onto the matt the
other side, front cover facing upwards. On the front is
an image of a GIRL sat glumly in a chair, holding herself
around her torso, dried mascara plastered down her cheeks
as though she had been crying. The picture is accompanied
with the heading Murder or revenge?
