Diverse and Sustainable Lake ManagementAslakemanagementissuescontinuetoaffectawiderangeofstakeholders,itisincreasinglyimportanttogatherkeyfigureswithinthosecommunitiestoopenlydiscussandunderstandhowtheinterestsofothersmaybeaffectedbytheirowninterests.Scientificandenvi-ronmentalmindswillofferavarietyofrelevantsubjectmattertobecoveredinbreakouteducationalsessions,andnetworkingopportunitieswillallowforcollabora-tionwithlakepropertyassociationmembersandotherinterestedparties.Whileinformationisnowavailabletousfrommanysources,thespiritoftheSymposiumal-lowsforimportantinteractionstooccurbetweenthosefromscientific,environmental,recreational,residential,governmental,andothercommunitiestodiscussissuesimportantandrelevanttoallconcernedwithwatermanagementissues.TheSpokaneConventionCenter,situatedonthebanksoftheSpokaneRiver,offerstheperfectvenuefortheseinteractionsandeducationalop-portunitiestooccur.
