Welcome Notification and Login

All users to the AWSI system will
receive a welcome notification from
the AWSI website and will be
directed to read and accept the
terms of use and create a password.

Your Username is your email address.
This password must be at least 8 and at
most 20 characters long, contain at least
one number, one uppercase letter, and
one lowercase letter.
This notification does expire 24 hours
after it is sent.

Portal Dashboard

All service order request links, reporting tools and
contact information can be found on the AWSI
Dashboard.
The top header bar will be on every screen during the
use of the AWSI web portal, giving you easy access to return to the home page, view reports or employee
quick search.
The News Feed is updated with current industry
newsletters and webinar information.

Creating an Authorization Form for Drug Testing
Authorization Form
What is an authorization form?
An authorization form provides the collection site with
the donor information, types of testing that is required,
and provides company specific protocol.
An authorization form also serves as a place holder for a result in the AWSI system. It alerts the chase team to
follow up on results that have not been received as
testing is completed.

You can create an authorization from the Home Page by clicking here:

How to Create an Authorization Form

Enter all the required fields and make the test
selections.
The reason for test will auto-populate to Pre-
Employment/Pre-Access. Select the Type of
Test and the Reason for Test.
Once this page is filled out, click Save and
Continue.

Next you will select the collection site, enter a
zip code and click Search.
All collection facilities within 100 miles will
populate. Only sites with the capable services
will populate.

Select the facility that is most
convenient for the donor. If you would
like to use electronic CCF, look for the
( ) symbol so the electronic form gets
generated with the authorization form.
To select a site click on the “Site ID.”

Once the collection facility is selected, it will auto
populate into the form.
If you have selected a facility with Electronic CCF
( ) capabilities, this screen will confirm that under
the section labeled “Electronic CCF.”
Click on Create Authorization Form to complete
the process.

This is the completed authorization form that is to be
sent with the donor to the collection facility.
If an electronic CCF was generated the barcode will
populate onto the form. If it was not, the donor will need
to have the paper CCF along with the authorization form.
You can also change the collection facility by clicking on
Applicant/Employee Detail at the top of the screen.

From the Employee Detail
If the employee is already in our system,
you can create an authorization form from
their Employee Detail Page.
Their employee information will pre-populate. Make your test selections and
reasons for testing, select the collection
site, and create the authorization form.

Random Selections
Random Selections

Users with access to random selections will get a
notification letting them know that the random was
generated and to login to view the selections. This
link provided in the email will land the user on the
open random list after logging in.

Once a user is logged into the AWSI system you
can also click on the “Open Randoms” icon to get to
the Open Randoms list. This number is the number
of employees that you have access to with open
Randoms.

The Open Randoms List allows the User to:
▪ Create an Authorization Form for
testing, or
▪ Mark the Employee as Unavailable for
testing.

The tests selected for the employee and all
employee information will auto populate.
Select “Save and Continue” to proceed with
selecting a collection facility.

If an Employee is Not Available for Testing
through the end of the Random Selection
Period, they may be eligible to be marked
as unavailable.
Click on Mark the Employee as Unavailable For This Test.

Use the drop-down menu to select an approved reason for
marking an Employee as unavailable for Random Drug
Testing, then leave supporting comments in the Notes
section.

If an employee is Marked as Unavailable for Testing, the reasons for not testing will stay with the
employee and be displayed on the Employee Detail Page under Tests Not Taken.
The system does not select alternates when an employee is Marked as Unavailable for Testing. The
system will ensure compliance on future selections within the year to remain in compliance with regulated
and company random programs.

You can also create the random
authorizations from the Employee’s Detail
page.
You can create an authorization form,
reprint and edit an authorization form, mark an employee as unavailable for
testing, and remove an employee from a
drug testing pool from the Employee detail
page.

Email Notification
Users with access to view results will be
notified by email when a result has been
reported and will be prompt to login to the
AWSI Portal in order to view.
My Inbox
Your Portal Inbox is available from the
Dashboard or Navigation Menu.

View Results on the Employee Detail

Inbox items can be removed at any time after
viewing, all results are accessible via the
Employee Detail page.
Use the Employee Quick Search get to navigate
to an Employee Detail page.
The Employee Detail Page displays all
information for the employee based on user
access.

Build Custom Test Result Reports

Testing Report Builder
You can build a customized report of Test Results
using the Testing Report Builder.
Select the criteria you wish to filter by, then click Run
Report.
You may also export this report to Excel by selecting
the Output Data To Excel option.

Easily search for collection sites that have been
linked to your company from the Linked Collection
Sites link on the homepage.
Enter the zip code or city name and select any
criteria that is needed.
