• At the age of one Alex Scott was diagnosed with cancer, and yet when she came home from the hospital she wanted to raise money for other kids with cancer.
• She did that when she was four, and a lemonade stand is what she chose. For the time it was up they rose over $2,000.
• She lived in Manchester, Connecticut.• She passed away at the age of eight, but before she
passed Alex’s Lemonade Stand raised over$1,000,000 for kids with cancer.

The purpose of Alex’s Lemonade Stand is to raise money for hospitals in which they treat other cancer patients like Alex.

Inspiring Alex
Alex was inspired to start selling lemonade to raise money for the doctors after they successfully preformed surgery on her. Later the company started to just give money right to cancer patients.
