where:
Hf = feet of head
f = Darcy friction factor ( obtained from the Moody diagram)
L = Total developed vent pipe length feet (From tank to outdoor vent termination)
v2 = Air velocity feet per second squared (note: this variable requies calculations below, i.e. wetted area of tank or tank dimensions)
D = Pipe diameter feet
3. (AIR PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL 1.5 RADIUS WELDED STEEL PIPE ELBOW BASED ON SMACNA) Delta P = (C x Vp) Vp = (V/4005)^2
Delta P = PSI pounds per square inch
"C" = SMACNA Friction loss coefficient for 1.5 radius elbow (dimensionless)
Vp = Air velocity pressure (in w.c.)
