Device Deployment Information
When is Chromebook Deployment? HVMS will distribute Chromebooks to students on the following dates: August 6th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. August 7th f rom 9 a.m.-3 p.m. August 10th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. If these days/times won’t work for you, a device will be given to your student during the first week of school. What do I need to do to be ready for Chromebook Deployment?
❏ You must complete the device agreement {REQUIRED}: Link ❏ You may sign-up for the {Optional} device insurance ($30/year):

❏ The student must pick-up AND sign-in to the Chromebook.
❏ Everyone must wear a mask for the duration of the deployment.
How will deployment work? ❏ Please park in the parking lot at the front of the school (see map
below)
❏ We are asking parents to wait in their cars in order to limit the number of people in the building.
❏ Students will enter the building on their own through the front doors.
❏ Students will exit the building through the bus lane doors and will meet their parents in the parking lot.

How do I qualify for the Haslam covered Chromebook
Insurance?
❏ Apply for free and reduced lunch

❏ Sign up for the insurance (Insurance Link ).
❏ If you qualify then KCS will apply the grant to pay for your
insurance.
❏ If you do not qualify you can still pay online for the insurance
at https://knoxschools.schoolcashonline.com/
