DATA PROTECTION IN THE BANKING SECTOR
Information protected by law:
• information on any transactions involving the customer’s bankaccounts;
• information on customers which is received by a bank in course ofrendering banking services;
• information on inter-bank transactions and contracts made at thecustomer’s request or in his/her favor;
• information on a customer of another bank which became known asa result of the banks circulating supposedly privileged information;
• information on the customers of the accumulative pension system,amounts and movement of pension deposits, and pension savingsin citizen’s individual accounts.
