Check left side of screen to make sure you are logged in.
Scroll down through the Course Categories to find your school or location.

Participants—who are currently enrolled in your classAdministration Area--turn on editing to make changes to the course--settings to add more topic sections, add an enrollment key, change the size allowed to be uploaded, etc.--grades if you use the quiz or upload assignment feature

Editing and Adding ContentThe first section under the topic outline is the title section for your course/class. It will always be visible.
First topic section. This area will need a title and description of what you would like the students to accomplish or view in this area.

How to Add Content and ResourcesThe hand holding the pencil allows you to edit the text for this section or module.
You can also add a resource to any section.
Your choices are a label, text page, webpage, link to a file or a website, a directory, or an IMS Content package. The ? in the circle will take you to a help page that will explain the resources in more detail

Type your label in the text box. Use the drop down menus to adjust your font to your preference

Don’t forget click Save changes
Make sure you highlight the text and then make the changes in font, size and style.

1. Name your file
2. Write a summary about the file
3. Click on “choose or upload a file”

Uploading a file from your H:Drive1. Click on Upload a file
2. Click on Browse
3. Select a file from your H:Drive. Once you get to the location of the file you wish to upload; double click on the file

Uploading a file from your H:DriveThe name of your file should appear in the box. You will see a lot of location information and at least the beginning of the title of the file. Click on “Upload this file”.
Finally select CHOOSE.

Change this to “new window”
Save and return to course

The blue link is how your file is available to students.
This file will open in Word. It is probably best to upload PDF files so they can be read with any system.

Searching for a WebsiteIn this case I am uploading a video link from YouTube.
I use the title of the clip as my title and the description of the clip for my summary.
Next I copy the URL from the address bar.

Resources –Adding a website link
Paste the URL directly into the Location box. Make sure you do not have http 2 times. This will cause an error.
Make sure you have the website opening in a new window.
Click Save and return to course.

Write a short description
Assign the number of points it will be worth.
Select when it will be available . You may disable the date for one or both.
Determine if you will allow late work.
Determine if you will allow the assignment to be resubmitted.
Save and return to course.
