Struggling to maintain perspective, she invited others to join her journey in an extraordinary way. She painted the side of an abandoned house in her New Orleans neighborhood with chalkboard paint, then stenciled in the sentence “Before I die I want to _______________.” Next, she invited anybody who wished to share their hopes and dreams…

So much to do. So little time. It’s SO important to make the most of every moment. Life is precious. Time, our most valuable commodity.

May, for me, is a month of moments that matter. Think of the memory-making season at hand: Mothers Day, Graduation Day, Memorial Day, Fathers Day. For many, Wedding Day is in there, too. Oh! And don’t forget our special night of celebration, Sunday, June 2, for all those making such a difference as Christ Journey volunteers!!

How can we make the most of our meaningful moments? Part of the answer comes in sharing them together. Among Jesus’ first call to his disciples was the call simply to “be with” him together.
