SACRAMENT OF THE SICK The Pastor invites any person who is going to the hospital to receive this Sacrament. Also invited to receive the Sacrament are those who are ill or elderly who cannot come to Church. Please contact the rectory to arrange for the celebration.

SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM (Infant) The sacrament of baptism is celebrated the last Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Upper church. Parents wishing to register their child for baptism are asked to contact the rectory and to speak with a member of the pastoral staff to arrange the date. The instruction class, to which all parents and godparents are invited, is held in the rectory on the Sunday before the baptism at 2:00 PM.

Today we rejoice and celebrate World Day for Consecrated Life. Over the years, many men and women have chosen to live out their baptismal vocation by professing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. They do this by joining a religious congregation, a secular institute, or through private vows. We pray for these people the Franciscans of the Primitive Observance and ask God to bless our Church with others who will dedicate their lives to God’s service.

It will begin with Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the lower church of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church. It will be followed by a Lithuanian Sausage Dinner at Corpus Christi Parish Center, 34 Common St. Lawrence, MA. After Dinner music will be provided on Classical Guitar by Jonas Kublickas and Andrius Masilionis two rising stars from Lithuania. The donation for the meal is $12.00. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES Classes are held at the Parish Center from 10:00am– 11:30am on Sundays as scheduled. New students are welcome throughout the school year. You may bring your child /children to the parish center and register before classes begin. February 12, 2017 World Marriage Day honors husband and wife as head of the family, the basic unit of society. It salutes the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice and joy in daily married life. The Parish will celebrate the day by recognizing all married couples with a special blessing at each of the Masses next weekend. Youth Mission – “Feeding the Beast, who is feeding on YOU!” Monday, February 13th, 7:30-8:30 PM at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex St., Andover Fr. Ray Dlugos, OSA, Ph.D. and Vice President for Mission and Student Affairs at Merrimack College will address how to balance our cultural need for immediate gratification with God’s desire that we live life to the full. This talks is geared to teens in grades 9-12. Parents are also welcome. We are asking a free will donation of a canned good for Lazarus House. Fr. Ray holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, speaking and writing about the integration of spirituality and psychology based on clinical experience.
