Carmel, fruitful vine splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me, herein you are my mother. In Loving Memory of my husband, Ed Baker, who passed away July 24, 2006
I felt you hold me close last nightAs strange as it may seem
I felt your hand, it touched my faceBut it was just a dream.
I thought I heard you call my nameBut turned to find you gone
And realized in sadness that I was all alone. As time goes by the pain of losing you remains the same.
Until again I feel your touchAnd hear you speak my name
Your memory is as clear to me as if time had stood still.Because I love you dearly, and I know I always will
Lee
In Loving Memory of my husband, Vincent (Fuzzy) Potter, who passed away July 23, 2000
The moment that you died, my heart was torn in two.One side filled with heartache, the other died with you.I often lie awake at night when the world is fast asleep
And take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks.Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday,
But missing you is a heartache that never goes away.Until we meet again.
Love always, your wife Bev

DID YOU KNOW?Fences can provide privacy and transform backyards into calming places to relax and unwind. Butfences also may lead to disputes with neighbors if installation is not carried out with etiquette. Alwaysplace the fence within your property lines, which can be determined by examining a land survey foryour home. Inform your neighbors of your intention to erect a fence, and give any concerns theymight have substantial consideration. Face the more aesthetically appealing side of the fence out-ward to the street and to neighborsʼ yards. In addition, maintain the fence once it is installed so itdoes not become a neighborhood eyesore that irks your neighbors.

DID YOU KNOW?Damage to a lawn maybe indicative of variousproblems. Everythingfrom insects to rodentsto the family pet may beresponsible for causingburnt patches, holesand other eyesores.Getting to the bottom ofthe problem is the firststep in remediation.Burning and discol-oration of the lawn isoften a result of high
concentrations of dog urine pooling in one area. Diluting the urineby hosing down areas of the lawn can clear up many problems.Birds, raccoons, skunks, moles, and other rodents may feed ongrubs that reside just under the thatch of the lawn, and animalsmay tear up lawns in search of this delicacy. Treating the grubproblem usually alleviates damage caused by animals. Molecrickets are another common lawn destroyer. These insects re-semble crickets, but they burrow beneath the turf to feed on plantroots. The mole crickets can push up channels of turf as they bur-row, exposing roots to the elements and causing the grass to die.Getting rid of the insects can revitalize the lawn.

HOW TO PURCHASE YOUR FIRST HOME IN 2015(NAPSI)—The American dream of homeownership may not be as hard to attain as manypeople seem to fear. A few intriguing facts and hints can help.
The FactsWhile existing home sales have risen recently, the National Association of Realtors’ an-nual Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers found that the share of first-time buyers recentlyfell to its lowest level (33 percent) in nearly three decades. Many first-time buyers expe-rience obstacles on the path to homeownership, including difficulty saving for a downpayment and tight credit conditions.
The HintsConsider these tips:• Find and work with an expert Realtor who knows the neighborhood. Nothing can re-place the local knowledge and real insight that professional Realtors can provide to first-time buyers as they navigate the complex home buying process.According to the Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, while most home buyers in thepast year began their home search online, 90 percent ended up purchasing their homethrough an agent. Realtors are not only the source of online real estate data, they alsouse their unparalleled local market knowledge and resources to help close the deal forbuyers and sellers.• Meet with a lender to determine how much you can afford. Last year, the median pricea first-time buyer spent on a home was $169,000. Chances are, you don’t have thatamount of cash lying around. That’s why 95 percent of first-time buyers who bought ahome in the past year financed their purchase.Find out what you can afford with a preapproval from a lender. A lender will check yourcredit history, current debt obligations and other expenses to determine the amount ofmoney you’re qualified to borrow at a specific interest rate. Don’t forget to consider theother costs of homeownership, such as taxes, insurance and utilities.• Identify your housing wish list.
