• Why ? – Need to adopt a strategic coordinated approach to contribute to the
development of a competive biobased economy in Wallonia in accordance with the European bioeconomy
– To complete an on going study at GreenWin with the aim to launch a working group about biomass
• Specific objectives :
– To develop a strategy that is shared by the stakeholders
– To identify required projects : R&D, training or platform;
– To identify required investments and attract investors;
– To have a currently “refreshed” overview of Wallonia strengths in biobased-economy sectors.
