OBJECTIVES –

-To know the working process of contour crafting.

-Application and advantages of using C.C.

-Utilization of C.C machine to provide houses to slum and homeless people .

-Provide quick shelter in case of hazard.

The research was started on 2004 under the a professor “Behrokh Khoshnevis” of Southern California university but & the whole working project is done in 2008 & it’s come in front of the world in 2010 when NASA have accept this proposal to build the houses on moon & still the work is going on.

Contour crafting machine is the computer control machine which is based on layer fabrication technology & programming based software. It is have ability to build the G+1, 2000 ft2 house within 24 hours with the proper facility of plumbing, electricity, & with the proper fitting of farms of doors & window. So this is very helpful in Natural Deserter situation for setup again the city.

CASE STUDY

Construction on marsh & moon-NASA (U.S): 2012NASA's plan to build homes on the Moon: Space agency backs 3D print technology which could build base. Technology will see lunar soil layers built up in a pre-determined design. System will work like a giant 3D printer using a nozzle and moveable gantry

• Creating structures in space that astronauts can live in has become a priority for Nasa. • With a manned mission to Mars on the agenda, and plans for lunar exploration underway, scientists are increasingly looking towards unconventional construction methods. • The most promising of these is 3D printing, which could make building a lunar home in space a matter of pressing a button and letting a robot do the work.

ADVANTAGES Due to its speed and its ability potential for immediate application in low

income housing and emergency shelter construction.

Construction of luxury structures with exotic architectural designs involving complex curves and other geometries

The environmental impact of CC is also noteworthy.

Contour Crafting could result in little or no material waste.

DISADVANTAGES

Initial cost is very high for contour crafting machine.

Not suitable for high rise building.

Unemployment due to not require labor.

CONCLUSION

BY USING CONTOUR CRAFTING WE CAN GIVE THE BETTER LIFE TO SLUM PEOPLE, FARMER & THE PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM NATURAL DISASTER AS WELL AS WHO NOT ABLE PHYSICALLY & ECONOMICALLY SO TO PROVODE THEM SHELTER ALL OVER THE WORLD…….. BECAUSE A PERFCT NATION MADE BY THEIR PEOPLE SO GIVE A PERFCT LIFE TO THEM …………
