CONNECTING TO FUTURE DEVICES
THE SYSTEM CONFORMS TO THE HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE (HID) STANDARD AND THUS IS COMPATIBLE WITH ANY DEVICE THAT SUPPORTS HIDS.o This includes computers running Windows, MacOS, and Linux, as well as modern
Android devices.
THE SYSTEM USES THE UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS (USB) PROTOCOL TO COMMUNICATE WITH THESE DEVICES, AND ACTS AS A USB CLIENT. THE DEVICE BEING CONNECTED TO (E.G., A TABLET OR COMPUTER) MUST ACT AS THE USB HOST DEVICE.o However, the host does not need to supply power, as the control system uses its
own external power sources.
TO CONNECT TO ANY SUPPORTED DEVICE, SIMPLY PLUG THE USB CABLE INTO THE FRONT PANEL OF THE CONTROL SYSTEM, AND CONNECT THE OTHER END TO YOUR DEVICE OR AN ATTACHED ADAPTER.
