Comprehensive Data In order to comply with international regulations, institutions today are primarily employing very manual processes of identifying potentially troublesome shipments in conjunction with their destinations. Accuity’s dual-use and controlled goods lists are available in an electronic format that allows for more efficient and accurate screening in tools such as Compliance Link.
By following international export control regimes, Accuity has compiled a comprehensive list of dual-use and controlled goods. International regimes base their list of controlled items on lists adopted by export control groups including: the Australia Group (AG), the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), the Wassenaar Arrangement and the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR).
Dual-use goods, as identified by international regimes, are placed in one of the following categories:
Nuclear materials, facilities and equipment
Special materials and related equipment
Materials processing
Electronics
Computers
Telecommunications and “information security”
Sensors and lasers
Navigation and avionics
Marine
Aerospace and propulsion
Accuity’s Global WatchList® trade finance data offers you:
100% coverage of publicly available regulatory lists from around the world including vessel, port and country names
Dual-Use Goods following the European Union’s export control regime
Controlled Goods based on international Military Goods List

Accuity’s Vessel Enhancements List includes all vessels connected to countries fully sanctioned by OFAC (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Sudan). In addition, the companies that manage and operate these vessels are also included.
A vessel’s connection to a sanctioned country is based on its flag, port of registry, country of economic benefit or an associated company connected to a sanctioned country. A company’s connection to a sanction country is based on its domicile country, country of control or country of registration. When a vessel meets the criteria for inclusion in the list all of its associated companies are also added. This coverage is designed to provide full protection against vessels and companies connected to OFAC sanctioned countries. To allow for extra scrutiny and avoid fines, you need to screen against not just the vessels listed by OFAC, but all vessels associated with a sanctioned country. Accuity uniquely offers you the Vessel Enhancements List with all vessels that are linked to countries with widespread sanctions.
