CLIENTS
Concrete FPSO
Together with University of São Paulo and PETROBRAS, the project was developed inorder to evaluate the pros and cons of concrete application in offshore units. Theconceptual design was developed, and the following analysis were carried out:
• Unit sizing
• Stability analysis
• Hydrodynamic analysis
• Mooring design
• Structural design
• Construction strategy evaluation
Under the structural point of view, the Concrete FPSO project consolidated theOceânica experience in non-linear material analysis, using Finite Element Methodmodels.

FPSOBR
The MonoBR design was developed by PETROBRAS to be a floating unit withproduction, storage and offloading capabilities as a ship-shaped FPSO, but with theadvantage to be “riser friendly“, due to the very good seakeaping behaviour, even inharshest conditions, as observed in the design for Gulf of Mexico environment –MonoBR-GoM. Oceanica worked together with PETROBRAS, universities and researchinstitute teams.
