Willowlake subdivision makes for a great home and is filled withresidentswhodon’tmindlookingafteroneanother. 12-year veterans leave Willowlake When my wife and I moved toWillowlake, we knew we hadfound a great neighborhood. We along with quite a few other first timehomebuyersbecamegoodfriendsandenjoyedspendingtimetogetheratblockpartiesheldonourstreet.Astheyearswentby,the streets begin to fill with strollers and then kids learning to ride bikes.Beforeweknewit,thetrainingwheelswerebeingtakenoffandkidsweremakingfriendsatdaycare.Thencamekindergartenand the bus route with the first day of school. As kids kept coming, the adults were slowly outnumbered. The street was filled with kids onbikesandeveninggatheringsoutsidebecamethenorm.Familiesbegantooutgrowtheirhomesandslowlymovedaway.Whilesomenewfamiliesmovedin,theoldfriendshipsremained. Many first memories will always hold a special place in our hearts.Aswillthefriendswehavemade.Ourtimehascomeandwehavefoundanewhome.Wehopewehavethefortuneofhavinggreatneighbors like theoneswe leavebehind.Wewillmiss thegreatamenitiesliketheparkandpond,whereourboysspentmanyafternoons. Especially the ball field where we saw them start T-ball and progress to kid pitch. Please take care of our first neighborhood andwehopeyoutoohavemanyfondmemorieslikeours.
