200 East 59 Street, at the southeast corner of Third Avenue, continues Macklowe Properties’ commitment to classic modernism in residential condominium development. Following in the footsteps of Macklowe’s highly acclaimed 432 Park Avenue, it is characterized by innovative design and openness to light.
The tower rises to 35 stories and all residences feature deep continuous wraparound terraces, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living space. Column-free interiors surrounded by floor-to-ceiling walls of glass are finished with white oak plank flooring, white Calacatta, and Siberian white and mink marble. At the base of the tower, metal basketweave cladding reflects natural light through the day and emits a soft glow through the night. Above this podium, double-height amenity spaces open to a landscaped terrace.
Located at the intersection of Midtown and the Upper East Side, 200 East 59 Street offers residents excellent access to fine dining and shopping destinations, renowned cultural institutions, Central Park, and the Midtown business district. Residents also enjoy 24-hour white glove concierge services.
Penthouse Terrace & Living RoomResidences and penthouses at 200 East 59 Street have been designed to celebrate inside/out living. Column-free interiors feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls with slender vertical framework and no horizontal interruptions, virtually eliminating the visual distinction between indoor and outdoor space. Deep wraparound terraces with sheer glass railings are seamless extensions of living, dining, and entertainment areas.
Corner Residences
All residences are one- and two-bedroom corner units with wraparound terraces up to 571 square feet (53 square meters). Floor-to-ceiling walls of insulated Italian low-e glass provide exceptional natural light and the maximum level of sound attenuation. Interiors feature rift cut white oak plank flooring and 10-foot finished ceilings with ample room above for lighting and audio visual customization. Integrated ceiling pockets allow for invisible installation of window treatments and uninterrupted expanses of wall space are ideal for display of large artworks. All residences are pre-wired for home automation systems and have a high-performance multi-zone climate control system.

Full-Floor Penthouses
All three penthouses occupy a full floor with panoramic 360º views and three bedrooms. Enhanced design elements include more expansive wraparound terraces ranging in size from 1,186 to 3,471 square feet (110 to 322 square meters), 14-foot finished ceilings with ample room above for lighting and audio visual customization, and the option for a gas fireplace.
Wraparound TerraceTerraces
Terraces seamlessly extend indoor living space to the outdoors while also acting as brise soleils that deflect direct sunlight and enhance soft reflected light. Sheer glass railings are a continuation of the minimalist profile of the window walls. Generously proportioned at 6' 7" deep in residences and 11' 8" deep in penthouses, every terrace provides abundant space for furnishings.

Real estate decisions are often self-generated, having much to do with clarifying your internal vision and reaffirming your objectives. Similarly, adding support to your own convictions is, for the most part, a test of self, and more often than not, an internal challenge. A chess game of extraordinary proportions, encouragement is most welcome during this process, but rarely sought. An investor or a developer thrives on having a private vision and the ability to get there. Along the way, courage and conviction are the unwavering standards.
