Background & Planning:
•This is a simple geography classroom lesson that was modified into an International Collaborative Project aimed at fostering better understanding of each others’ communities in-terms of environment conservation - which is currently a major global issue.
• In the recent past, there has been several cases of floods in Kano plains, Droughts and hunger in Kisumu. Students needed to come up with solutions for the community.
•It is also expected that the exchanges of ideas on environment conservation will help to empower young people in Africa , UK and US to inspire more action on climate change and global warming.
